With a little imagination, we convert the main dining room (The Cosmopolitan Restaurant) into a performance venue every afternoon and a gorgeous jazz cabaret every evening. Currently the Millennium Class ships of Celebrity Cruises provide us with the best opportunity to present our programs. Anchored by an amazing main theater (Celebrity Theatre), which seats more than half our guests at one time, those ships have significant additional performance venues (Sky Lounge, Rendezvous Lounge, Foyer, Pool Deck). With a little imagination, we convert the main dining room (The Cosmopolitan Restaurant) into a performance venue most afternoons and a gorgeous jazz cabaret every evening. From adding brand new staterooms and elevating design concepts and technology across the ship to adding The Retreat®, an exclusive experience including The Retreat Sundeck and The Retreat Lounge, the results are phenomenal.
You’ll dock in the heart of some of the country’s most iconic cities and sail along exquisite coastlines, visiting multiple destinations and only having to unpack once. For many years, Jazz Cruises has presented The Smooth Jazz Cruise on Land in St. Louis. This year we are expanding our musical offerings to reflect more of our cruise programs and music. We are careful not to share too much of this information now as the element of surprise is part of the excitement, but here are three types of events we produce just for the sheer enjoyment of doing so. The main shows are performed in the majestic Theatre, which comfortably holds half of the guests on board. The other half of the guests dine first and then attend the 2nd Show. Main Show Schedules are determined when a Reservation is completed and is reflected in the color of each Guest’s Cruise Identification Card (BLUE or RED). No luxury cruise program would be complete without cocktails, wine, and food. Botti at Sea II (’25) takes that to another level by pairing these events with performers who serve as hosts. It may be a Happy Hour Hang or a fine dining experience, but you can be there with your favorite performer.
The goal for each show is to transform the main theater into a world-class showroom and give the guests a program that would be the equivalent of a top show on land…and do that for 7 consecutive nights. The casual and formal dining areas have been transformed as well, giving the ship a sleeker and more contemporary look and feel.
